Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Does anyone know what the music was from the last two episodes of this Season? The opening classical music of part1 particularly appealed to me.

I can't seem to find out who the composer was.

I see they have the miniseries soundtrack over on Amazon these days also.

    Cheers.

I'd also be rather interested in the source of some of the music, in particular the string piece going on during the final episode as six lets Baltar in on what his purpose is to be.

The string piece in the final episode is called "The Shape of Things to Come" by composer Bear McCreary. You can find out more details on his website, bearmccreary.com.

    Enjoy.

Do you suppose The Watcher is in fact Bear McCreary himself, plugging away his album....

    Great piece of music though.

Hey, who cares this once? ;) Except for the bagpipes crap from The Hand of God, I've been after the season 1 soundtrack for a while.

I disagree, i think the bagpipes track is actually pretty good...

....good that is, until the singing kicks in !! :(

The website says Mr. McCreary sang some Gaelic lyrics himself.
Would that be Scots Gaelic? or the Irish kind?

Alas, I am not Bear, merely a teacher living in the UK. Sorry!
