If iI had to pick one it would have to be L'amour Tourjours by gigi D'Agostino. There are a load of other great ones out there but that one just springs to mind.

Giles is on the ball with his list there, especially with Daft Punk and Aphex Twin. Although I do think that the B-side, "The Beach" is better than "Blue Monday".

Vitalic - La Rock 01 for me. His debut album is out in March.

Yeah, I've only heard this once in a club, when 110th Street played it here in Cork but it's crazy altogether. "Candy" on the flipside of that is another great tune. He definately has a very distinctive, kinda weird sound. I can't wait to hear what he has in store for his LP.
Surely he'll be playing in Ireland sometime this year, I think he's just played here once in 2002.

There's an Aphex Twin track that doesn't have a name on the "2 Remixes by AFX" cd that is deadly. It's track one on that cd. "Hot on the Heels of Love" by Throbbing Gristle is top notch. "Everybody in the Place" by Prodigy occupies a soft, warm gooey spot in my heart. "The Box" by Orbital. "Second Bad Vibel" by Autechre. Oh and of course "No Limits" by 2Unlimited

AFAIK Vitalic played a live set at Electric City in the Metro in the latter half of last year.... Bloody missed it but I'll be there next time!

That Hystereo tune is great.
Vitalic's new single My Friend Dario is more rocky, sounds very good too. The album is called OK Cowboy. The 2 Poneys are on it, La Rock 01, Wooo (but not Candy??) and "Valletta Fanfares". Not too sure what Valletta Fanfares is. It was used in Soulwax's EM, but sounded just like Fanfares to me. There's 8 new tracks on the LP, out in April.
