what was the fooking story with that group of stu[id saps that were on the radio 9-10. they put me right off. considering u wouldnt let as on ( a good thing i thought (joke)) why the hell did u let these dopes come on and shout and rant about gfs they didnt have etc.etc.etc. i thought they were embarrasing. shame on u stargal.

also i came into the t:fm room. sad i say. sad.

Yeah thought that was a bit harsh when I read it. Thing is the majority of the shows go well - people come in, play some good music and chat a bit. Talk-based ones such as current affairs, film, Irish... those shows always go well too. The probs happen when you get people who haven't done shows before and decide to bring a few friends in for moral support and end up having rambling conversations filled with in-jokes. The lads last night were good, bit lively maybe.

Why is the t:fm room sad by the way? Come up in a few weeks, we're getting our zebra-skin couch... oh yeahhhhhh....

Can't believe you're slagging my El Chairo t-shirt AS (although as John2 pointed out, it should be the feminine version of the obviously made-up word).

I agree with Kev, those guys were terrible. Half of them were drunk and rambling in a way that's only funny when you're drunk and mentally retarded.

By the studio 'thing', you mean our €20,000 broadcast equipment, that's less than a year old and pretty fcuking impressive?

The outer room is used for committee meetings, writing up news (hence the brand new computer there) and preparing for shows - we're getting a couch and chairs in the next couple of weeks but there simply isn't a need for anything else.

how can it take 20,000 worth of equipment to do a localish fm broadcast? not just plug in an itrip to yer pc and jack up the wattage?
