Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back a page or two to re-sync the thread and this will then show latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

I think my PC might have a virus...

Everytime I try use the internet (at home) as soon as I type in a URL Im redirected to http://www.flashlight.com/search........ and 'Page cannot be displayed' is shown - its wrecking my head!!

I did a Google on it and it looks like its some sort of a virus. Any idea on how to get rid of it and ensure that it doesnt happen again??

Im using XP by the way.

    Thanks for your help guys!

Could be spyware, download adaware se and spybot, these programs should find any spyware on the machine.

To check if it is a virus download avg virus scanner, or Mcafee stinger (Small program that does not need to be installed)

I know downloading these programs won't be easy because u can't get onto the internet, but try and get them anyway they should solve the problem!

Get Ad Aware to get rid of the ad/spy-ware (its free!)

And get Firefox Web Browser to replace IE (its free too!)

Microsoft anti-spy will hunt it down and remove it. Also use firefox its not yet hijackable for spyware.
