I created the Crazy Frog ad

Well not me but this guy did

It was Daniel who, as a 17-year-old in 1997, sat down in front of his computer and recorded him imitating his friends' souped-up mopeds. Although he didn't know it at the time, his funny little recording would one day become the Crazy Frog.

In 2003, Daniel's fellow Swede, Erik Wernquist, drew the now familiar animated frog to go with the sound, christened it The Annoying Thing, and put it on his website for download.

Some one please hunt him down and kill him before he creates more.

Ah, it's hardly his fault, it was hilarious on that grand prix site for 3 minutes in the late 90's, how culd he have known what pain it would cause the world.

Yeah fair enough about the fella who recorded the sound but what about the second fella who created the frog to go with the sound. I say we all ring him (+46 733 199 805) and play the crazy frog ringtone down the phone.

I heard this morning on the radio that telly watchdogs are thinking of pulling the ad since the frog 'exposes' himself on it and it's unsuitable for airing.

I hope it's true and not just an attempt at more publicity for this damn thing.
