    hi,
    im writing a search page in asp and im tryin to get it to search by artist, album or song name, and my asp sql statement looks like this:
    strSQL = "SELECT * FROM musicinfo WHERE searchchoice LIKE '%" & Replace(strSearch, "'", "''") & "%' ORDER BY '" & searchchoice & "'"
    when its executed and i write the output to the screen and it turns to this:
    SELECT * FROM musicinfo WHERE 'Artist' LIKE '%cold%'
    which when i run this query in ms acess no records are selected, is there any way to remove the ' ' from around artists?? i think this is my problem!
    any ideas??
