Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Okay, I know how to join nouns, and I think I now understand how to do it with sentences. What about saying, say, "I am old and bald"?

I'm not exactly on-topic with this but just to suggest that I think this forum should have a stickied topic for quick questions because the forum could get flooded with them if there's one for every little question.

Same as sentences, use the -te form.

    To make the -te form:
For i-adjectives, drop the -i and make it -kute, eg. 大きい -> 大きくて
For na-adjectives, drop the na and add de, eg. きれい(な) -> きれいで

    あの人は古くて高いです
ano hito wa furukute takai desu
That person is old and tall.

    あの女はきれいで静かです
ano onna wa kirei de shizuka desu
That woman is beautiful and quiet.

    先生は面白くて親切です
    sensei wa omoshirokute shinsetsu desu
The teacher is interesting and kind.

EDIT: Japanese-encoded brackets are the win.

Word of advice. Never put kanji in brackets on this board. It'll get messed up. ;)

    I agree.

EDIT: Had two windows open and thanked in a rather nonsensical manner.
