    You cant really do a fair comparison of Intel vs. AMD for video encoding, it all comes down to which processor the program is optimised for. If the program has SSE3 Intel will come out tops. If not, more than likely AMD will. Of course AMD chips with SSE3 will be out soon so then we can really see which chip comes out top.
