    hi
ive seen a few websites and thier html does not have any tables in them..
    only divs?

Is this making sites compliant with a future version of html or something?

how does one create one of these pages?

    Tnx

The thinking behind it is that tables are suppossed to be used to show tabular data only. Those sites you mentioned use a vareity of CSS positioning techniques to present the content in their DIVs

Look at www.positioniseverything.net www.css-discuss.org and http://css-discuss.incutio.com/ for a bit more info.

you should look at this site zeldmans
look under CSS layouts, bluerobot's and the boxes layouts are good.

also read the sticky in this forum. has a good few resources!

if you have never used CSS before read the tutorials on the zeldman site
