The DSL Light isnt coming on the Eircom Broadband Modem?

Hi there, Broadband was working fine and then low and behold when i moved the computer into another room, (still using same access point, same everything) The DSL light isnt coming onto the modem..... and hence broadband isnt working, can anyone help me please- its awful annoying. Thanks E

how long is the phone lead you are using?

not using a phone lead as such-

using DSL line that came with the eircom broadband, thats connected to the DSL filter which is directly into the phone point. about 5 inches of actual pone cable at most.
