Im posting on behalf of my friend "cianan2". He's telling me he can't post anything, anywhere. I told him to try and post in prison, but even that wont work.He said he gets message saying "you dont have sufficient priviledges" or "need activation". Something along those lines. He can browse boards, so any advice for…

Did he try to change his e-mail address recently? He may be missing the activation e-mail that was sent to him/her. This may be due to some interruption to e-mail services lately or more like it was filtered into a junk mail folder.
