Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back a page or two to re-sync the thread and this will then show latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Burning to dvd

I was putting a few short clips of film on to a dvd last night. I have never burned a dvd with this burner before.
I rencoded the clips and then used nero to create the menu. Just a basic one button menu.
Then burned the dvd. It said everything was ok and the burn was sucessfull. So i tried the dvd on the dvd player and it would not read it, tried it on the pc and it would not read it. It said that there was no cd in the drive. If you look at the back of the cd you can clearly see it was burned. Its a dvd+r disc, and the type i have have worked for me before.
Anyone any sujjestions as to what might be wrong?

The first thing I would recommend you to do is to burn another copy. There is every chance that it was just a bad disc - It happens to me the odd time too. If you have any re-writable discs, try burning on one of those first, so as not to potentially waste another disc. If it still does not work, I'll have to come up with a plan B
