Got a PDA for Xmas, what can I do with it?

Alright, I gota Zire 31 for Xmas, and I've a few Qs to ask: What can I do with it? Are there any engineering uses for it? I'm a 2nd year Mechanical Engineering student who wants to organise himself and listen to cool music. What programs are worth buying to download? Am I going to need all those fancy Eng calculators later…
