For all that we often maligned it here, its still sad to see a Trek series go like this:

*Shrug* Maybe it'll mean they go and do something new and innovative then like BSG - is that why you've posted it on the BSG forum? 'Coz there's a Sci-Fi/Fantasy forum for general sci-fi.

Let's try and get it back on topic: Will BSG get a second season? Episode 4 was 8% up in ratings on episode 3 -perhaps word of mouth? If I'm reading the ratings right, about 3m watched (I may not be - the press release here uses a lot of abbreviations). They did very well for their tough time slot and it appears to be Sci-Fi's #1 program. All good signs and the decision is to be made in the next few days.

It could be a double whammy of great news this week in fact: BSG renewed and Enterprise cancelled

BSG is very rapidly becoming a heavyweight in ratings both here and in the states-I recall it regularly getting into the top ten in satellite ratings here, not to mention its currently topping Stargate in the states.

I would suggest we move this thread out of our BSG forumn...

It dirties the BSG board and drags the standard down. BSG board is a beautiful thing.... may the words Enterprise never cross its path again.
