Figures just released show limerick city is going to be surpassed by waterford or even dundalk by 2015 in terms of population...looks like Stab city is only gonna be Ireland's Fifth city After Dublin,Cork,Galway and waterford/Dundalk....Soory Bouys!

actually i posted a news article here that tstated that the population of limerick city was such that if two thousand people were to leave it would loose its city status.

now if you could put your point more elequently I would be more appreciative of your post

where are these figures.

All limerick needs is a boundry extension from the department of the environment to reflect its true population.

edit: actually if galway is so great and limerick is so **** then this belongs in the galway forum

limerick is way bigger its just that the population they count is only in the city not the suburbs, in other cities they count suburbs so really limerick is a lot bigger come on if you have been to both limerick and Galway youll notice limerick is a lot bigger

This thread is redundant and pointless.

Galway is massive compared to An Spidéal.
Galway is tiny compared to Dublin.
Dublin is a fleck of spittle compared to New York.

And yes, the boundary limit of Limerick is pointless.

Be proud of where you come from if you like, but don't go putting other places down, especially over something like population. It doesn't matter a fig in the end.
