Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

not to mention the bloody 6 nations wales-england. who cares about wales or england?! a utd-birmingham match is what people want to see :D a few irish on show at least.

sky should just buy up every tv station in the world, nobody beats them. you pay for what you get my friends and rte is the 'airline dinner' of tv

its beause it was a late game, and then can't show it till like 3 hours after or something like that, nothign to do with rte cept their contract.
Its a gamble which I think pays off to beat the match of the day market

Err I actually watched Wales vs England in the rugby and it was a great game !!! (Especially cause Wales won!)

Also watched Man United vs Birmingham as well, nice win by United but I have to admit Andy Pandy (Pandiani) looks like a good loan signing for Stevie Bruce (and looks like poor old Clint will be coming off the bench quite a bit now as well!).

i agree the egg chasing was a good game but england won the world cup, now where did i hear that before (cough) 66 (cough)

They showed the goals later on the 9 o'clock news. That right back of Villa de la Cruz sould be shot. Hes good going forward but keeps getting caught out of position. The 3 Arsenal goals all came down his side in the 1st half. And most of their chances happened on his side too.

He makes Damien Lynch look good.

The fact that we pay a licence fee and RTE gets revenue from ads is a disgrace !!

The highlights last night on RTE were a joke !! They get the most revenue out of that show and could have done the job a bit better. MOTD looked very professional last night (not that I can stick listening to shmikel , linker or hansen for long) compared to the RTE rabble.

Man U - Birmingham was on Setanta. You do know that RTE can only show 15 premiership matches?

Nothing to do with Arsenal highlights but RTE only do the tried and tested. Most of us in the pub last night wanted to see extended highlights of the Spurs match where Reid was making his debut, the captain of the Ireland U-21's was playing at right back and another Irishman scored the goal which Reid set up. I don't even think they showed replays of the goals.

Don't even get started on the quality of punditry on RTE Premiership (Dunphy aside). Giles wanted to know yesterday why Maik Taylor didn't try to close down the lose ball with his hands, just before Rooney's goal. It was a backpass...
