Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    Thursday 03 February // Chewy & Jamie Clarke // Gonna Have A House Party...

    More guests for Backlash, this week we've got the resident DJ for every house party thats
    ever been in Dublin, Mr Jamie Clarke(Clarkey as he likes to be called!) in fact, case in point
    he was last seen playing at a hastily organized get together in an abattoir.
    With an all over the place (in a good way) collection of mixed up house with some breaks
    and uptempo hip-hop effortlessly mixed up for good measure you don't know what to expect,
    except that this will be one worth checking out.
    After 6 long months of bending our ear we finally agreed to give him his shot at Backlash.
    To make him feel more at home feel free to bring in some old couches, bottles of Buckfast
    and any other house party paraphernalia you can think of to make him more comfortable.
    We've actually not told him he's playing a club in case it puts him off.

    This Thursday also see's the return of Dublin's no.1 socialite Chewy. He was last seen hosting
    a 'burlesque birthday party' in Toners on Baggot St. where we grudgingly found out he's still
    only 21. Chewy likes to combine the best of 80's pop with a disco/acid sound to great effect.
    This should make for an interesting mix of styles on the night

    Lastly, special thanks to Darren for bringing his wig down last week.
