Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

What's wrong with a rain poncho?

I have a yellow rain poncho and a navy rubber poncho both of which I wear when cycling or walking in the rain. They cover me and keep me dry. IN fact, several times when I've been outdoors people from both sexes have asked me where I got my poncho.
    Any views on rain ponchos?

Rain poncho's are functional and thus acceptable. Woolen hole filled embroidered fashion thingys are not.

yeah rubber ponchos used solely for keeping the rain off, not as a fashion disaster are ok

rain ponchos are grand, however, real ponchos should only be worn by men. manly men.

    Rain ponchos are A-OK.

You might get bad looks off people who lack an appreciation for subtlety and associate you automatically with those crazy people who wear non-rain-ponchos but keep your chin high - you're not one of them!

Rain ponchos are fine, within reason but I can't stand ponchos that are supossed to be used for fashion purposes. They're just horrible and they're not even flattering. I'll never understand people's obsession with them.

I actually seen a proper poncho in Warehouse the other day on sale for 22 euro. It was really thick wool and patterned like they do in S. America.....now thats a proper poncho
