Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    Hoping someone here can help

I play alot of 5 a side with friends and one has come up with the bright idea of setting up a full 11 a side team, however we only every have done 5 a side.
We have applied to a league to join and got the application form and know that the county councils place ads in the paper with regard to pitches however the big question we have is about insurance, does anyone know how much it costs? Any other pitfalls we should look out of?

    All comments appreciated

Jerseys , sponsor ,getting 11 out every week , league will point you in the direction of insurance but some leagues dont have it, getting 11 out ever week.

Jerseys are about €250 for 13 jerseys shorts and socks (crap ones that the cheapest|) ,mate of mine works in a place that does them, can design your own (for a price decent kit costs about 500 without tracksuits, will PM you number)

Sponsor is usually the person who pays for said jerseys :D

Certain leagues have insurance most dont so "play at your own risk " will be on reg forms and every pitch you play on.

If i was you to get a feel for it join www.astro.ie nighttime 11 a side league (sweet god the players in that are damn good)
Get you started and they do insurance and have showers(hot :D ) and bar facilities.
