I wanted to start up a thread for people to get information
on different metal festivals all over europe.
A lot people don't know about them.
Post whatever info you have like who's playin, where is it and when etc....

It will be a way to raise awareness of some cool festivals.

Read the sticky thread 'upcoming gigs', its where you will find all the info you need on events in the near future, good source of info.

I've got tickets for the Hurricane Festival in ScheiBl, near Hamburg in Germany, June 10-12.

Headlined by Rammstein, System of a Down and Audioslave.

e97 a ticket, plus flights, and cheap yet tasty German beer. Should be a cracking weekend.

the bloodstock festival in england is great.
    absolutely amazing atmosphere.
the metal scene over there could turn anyone into a metal fan.
sure go for the hell of it. doesnt matter if you know any bands.
you'll find some great stuff.this year is hammerfall headlining.
saw children of bodom last year. f'n amazing.
again, go for the sheer amosphere.
and metal shops that make sound cellar look like a dark, damp, smelly, overpriced, hole in the ground...oh wait..it already is..
check out the website. i spose it depends on what metal hits the spot for you.
    www.bloodstock.uk.com

p.s im not a big metal fan.
