Hey, I was wondering if anyone knew how create a SQL stored procedure that will send POST data to a webpage and then retrieve the information returned by the page? Cheers

Looks like it is possible going by using EXEC to call a com component

an example using smtp component

but instead using the winhttp control or wininet
http://msdn.microsoft.com/library/default.asp?url=/library/en-us/winhttp/http/network_terminology.asp

Though probably would be preferable to create your own com control to contain this stuff.

Here's an example using GNU wget.

wget has a --post-data option that lets you specify a string or a filename for POST data. You can find wget here
