I did a course in Dun laoighre (spelling?) and they thought me about parralel rules etc. They might have a hand book about it. I amn't 100% sure, but I'd say you might even be able to persuade one of the coaches to make one for you (ching ching), or point you in the right direction. It's on West pier, at the very end of the harbour wall. It's called 'National Irish sailing school' or something like that. hope that helps!

I have used seachest.co.uk. Specialise in charts, books, videos. They also carry basic nav stuff like plotters etc. Good delivery service to Ireland. Always satisified me. Friendly when you phone them too

If you are stuck, give us a shout. We supply them as part of a course pack to students doing their Yachtmaster Navigation courses with us in the autumn / winter.

    Kind regards,
