    since a=b when you divide both sides by ( a-b ) you are dividing by zero which brings both sides to infinity and 2(infinity) = infinity

    or simply you just cant divide by zero

    Any of these tricks, e.g. proof why it's impossible to fall out of a tree or something generally work by dividing by zero somewhere along the line.

    Ya wha?
    where is the division by zero?

    isnt it multiplication by 0 = 0 which allows the spoony line of a+b=b etc...

    or something...™

    This is even worse.

    Dilbert's "Salary Theorem"

    Dilbert's "Salary Theorem" states that Engineers and scientists can never earn as much as business executives and sales people."

    This theorem can now be supported by a mathematical equation based on the following two postulates:

    Postulate 1: Knowledge is Power.
    Postulate 2: Time is Money.

    As every engineer knows: Power = Work / Time

    Since:

    Knowledge = Power
    Time = Money

    Knowledge = Work/Money.

    Solving for Money, we get:

    Money = Work / Knowledge.

    Thus, as Knowledge approaches zero, Money approaches infinity, regardless of the amount of work done.

    Conclusion:
    The less you know, the more you make
