I buy all of my kit from WMAC in the UK - www.wmac.co.uk - postage to Ireland is normally very reasonable & some good prices on stock (even with the conversion rate).

They do all of the Shimano range inc. the stradic - link to shimano below

    Good Luck !

Ta Andip, thats just excellent, have been pricing the Shimano GTE Bait Runners and thats the cheapest I've seen them, great to know you've used the site with no problems too. My poor poor VISA card is about to take a battering :)

Have you ever ordered rods from them? A bit worried that if they weren't packaged properly they'd get damaged in transit.

    You could try here http://www.henrystackleshop.com
Theres a new shop up there. The reel you mention isnt on the list, but I picked up a pair of very nice Sahara Aeros from them in the shop last year, so they should stock them.

    Maybe try an email there.

Sorry for the delayed reply Nog - technical & family problems !! -aaaaargh

Anyways, yes, I have ordered rods from them and they come through with so much packaging on them it took me almost an hour to get to the rod !! - as I say, I've pretty well had everything from rods to hooks off of them & even when I had a problem with one item (bent bail arm on a reel), they sent me a pre-paid packet for returning the reel along WITH the replacement reel & a £5 voucher......

yeah i was hunting around their stand at the angling show and bought a few bits n bobs (the show was excellent, pricing of stuff wasn't too much more than what you get online). the online shop leaves a bit to be desired tho, perhaps when they get it up and running fully :)

    ta andip for the info.
