    Yeah this has a bigger effect in Firefox than in IE, I think.

    The "o" in the Boards.ie would make a good favicon.

    There is a favicon already; I'd say the paths have changed as a result of the recent server issues and it's probably at the bottom of the todo list :) .

    well I am still seeing the Vb instant community icon on top of
    all the boards.ie pages bar the front page.
    and yes I am using Firefox.

    I'd imagine clearing you browser cache might set things right.

    I never got the 'old' icon, but after the whole server crash, the new Vb one came up

    Close all open tabs.
    Go to about:config.

    In the filter, type "favicons", and you should see a key like "browser.chrome.favicons" - if you're not using the default skin, that won't say chrome, but the name of your skin. Set this to false. Clear your cache, restart FF. Go back to about:config, set the above key to true, and try again.
