Iriver and car audio

    Hi Guys, recently I saw a car stereo adverstied with iriver compatibility IE it would show track name etc on car stereo.

    Has anyone any experience of these ?

    similar problem lookin to get a iriver Mobile FM Transmitter AFT-100
    this

    i'm told by peats that their not legal in ireland.
    does anyone no of a place that sells them or similar product?
    pm so as not to get boards.ie in trouble

    The product tony is talking about is nothing like that. He is talking about a stero that you plug into the Iriver and you can control the Iriver via the radio.

    i no that thats why i said what I was lookin for i no its totally different but it still comes under the heading iriver and car audio

    Sounds like a good development if it works properly.

    Any details on the stereo Tony, manufacturer, price, etc?

    that would be great alright,

    I had the unit that plugs into the line out of my player and you could tune it into the radio, got in radioshack in that states for $30. It had no track info or anything just came in like a radio station, I got rid of it as they mess up theemergency services FM signals
    an advance on this would be great

    Guys can we stay on topic here please, I am not talking about an FM modulator.

    John, I think it was an alpine but not certain, saw it advertised by Halfords the newly opened UK motor factors, if I'm over that way I'll try check it out and report back.

    Went to halfords in Liffey valley to look at this unit. Its an Alpine car radio with an interface unit but it only lists compatability with Ipod and Ipod mini unfortunately.
