Let's take it to 3rd with a win over England, France and Wales, and then 2nd with the Autumn Intls, and 1st with our second Grand Slam in a row in 2006.

I'll be right cheerful when that all happens.

    :)

I reckon the england game wont be a walk in the park,

If dear old Charlie is kickin it will be a cake walk.Only pbo i see is the forwards in the loose.Although our lineout is way better so kick the corners and p*ss Thompson off when he is through /again/.

The English looked flakey in the middle - nice and soft for BOD and D'arcy and besides the nglish are terrified of Murphy. With Tindall and Greenwood out they are a poor backline.

Granted but they have been in a steady decline since - com'on they cant pick a good team their backline arent ther greatest they have a disinterested captain who is greedy everytime he gets ball in hand.

Do remember Ireland played Sh!te against Italy slightly better against Scotland and still one.If they hit the high gear we will win eas. But as said England are gunning for us now - all they have left is to fook up our run.

Had to double check there...thought for a second wales were in Cardiff for that one!!!

That is the defining weekend of the 6 nations, with the top 4 all playing eachother...the six nations will come out of that as a 2 horse race.

Although wales are flying, and france are flandering, i still have a feeling France will have another GS well in their sights since the "back from the dead" win over England, and they'll shock the welsh, and come out firing on all cylanders in Paris. Id go for france by less than 7.

In that weekend, i'd also go for Ireland by more than 7.

That would effectively set up a 6N/GS decider in Dublin rather than Cardiff.
I'd much prefer to have France in Dublin to decide the 6N and have to play a already beaten welsh side in Cardiff the following week for the GS than the other way around.

Yea I think Ireland can beat France once Laporte keeps making the rediculous team selections he has been. How he is not playing Michelack and Servat from the start is beyond me!!
Michelack is undoubhidly one of the most tallented out-halfs there is in the six nations and if he is playing against Ireland we will be in trouble.

We'll have a huge psychological edge over England. They'll be doubting themselves and their ability to win, if Ireland can take full advantage of that then we're all good.

People are saying that if they'd beaten France it would have been better for us, yet that would have given them a boost and they'd have been far more cocky coming to Lansdowne Road than they will be having been beaten on Sunday.

The French haven't gelled yet and if Laporte keeps making ridiculous selections, as he has been doing, they won't have had time to gel when they finally come to Dublin. This will very much work to Ireland's favour, provided we don't lose any more players through injury in the mean time.
