Half Life 2 Problem

Can I install half life 2 without my cd key and then just log onto steam with my username/pass and play away ?

( I have a HL2 cd key registered to my steam account )

yes, once you register your cd-key with steam it ties to your steam account so anytime you log in it knows you have paid for half life2 so you can install uninstall play whenever you want

hmm...thats actually...dare I say...pretty handy ? Fair play steam.

On another note, i just played HL2 on my new system with all setting high and with 5.1 surround sound...sooooo much better than before, specially the surround sound.

i have to waste my precious hd space on crappy cs source just so i can finish HL2...

my hl2 installation started at 3:15, it's now 4:08 and there's another 32 ****ing minutes left before i can play hl2 :mad:

85 goddamned minutes!!!
