Howyez lads,

Just picked up the following for €65 out of the Buy and Sell:

Dreamcast Console , 2 Sega controllers (perfect cond, boxed)

3rd party memory card

DC official mouse

Shenmue 1
Sega GT
Virtua Tennis
Ecco the Dolphin
The Nomad Soul
Soldier of Fortune
Plasma Sword
And a couple of others I can't think of

I had it in my mind to buy a DC this Summer if i saw one at the right price, but when this one came up I thought I might as well but it now. Pretty happy with the deal, what do u guys think?

As a side note, the system ****ing rocks but I don't want to start a thread about how good it is. I can't believe I waited so long to get one. I bought it cos there seems to be nothin but ****e coming out on the PS2 these days.

Sounds pretty good to me. The Dreamcast is probably my favourite console of the last 15 years and for just €5 more than the price of a new release game, you can't go wrong.

Nice deal, just don't end there. There's alot more games from where they came from.

The DC was such a great system, sure it had its crap games like any console, but to think when it came out its only real competition was the ps1, its a crying shame it didnt do better. Standout games you should look for include shenmue 1, power stone, quake 3, soul calibur

Kicked the annual Sony party into touch,
Cool music, food and freebies!
Pity it had to Die at the hands of sad sony fan-boys!

Go and get Powerstone, my favorite beat-em-up,
Ferrari 355, House of the dead, Confidential Mission, the sonic games, and Daytona.
A steering wheel and a couple of guns are essential too!

but then i had to move house and cos of eircom i couldn't continue on and lost my place

Make sure to pick up Skies of Arcadia and Grandia 2.

By the way, Ecco is one of the hardest games ever.

In fairness though the console wouldn't have died if it hadn't had the worst lauch and subsequent marketing campaigns in the history of advertising.

Dreamcast was the last console I bought. Had some great games alright.
kinda lost interest in games after it died... oh well.

Must pick up another machine although considering selling samba plus maracas to build up the old PSP fund, there's some irony in there somewhere!
