bio-mech sleeve is mostly complete now. Still some work to do in the new year, namely colour highlights to brighten it up and work on the sun (which was an existing tattoo).

Here is what it looks like with most of the work (less about 1 4 hour session in the new year). Sorry for the quality of the pics but it's very hard to get a decent pic of your whole arm. I'll get some proper full length pics when it's all finished and coloured in the new year.

Lots more crappy camera phone pics on flickr. If like me you're a fan of the oul toilet bowl / bathroom sink / bathroom floor type tattoo pics you can have a look at my progress over the sessions. Some before / 1st session / 2nd / 3rd / 4th pics and a few pics of tatts which inspired us too.

Like I said, I'll stick up proper full length pics when the whole thing is finished and coloured in the new year.

thanks, just want it to be finished at this stage tbh, but I welcome a nice break from cleaning it all the time and putting cream on it. The constant sessions - looking after it - more session - more looking after it can wear you down a bit.

Hopefully end of january I'll get it all finished. Really glad I chose Rob in the end, he's been great. put me straight when I was coming up with silly ideas and working with me on other not so silly ideas.

got this done in March this year by a guy who now works in Love Hate tattoo Miami going to have some more done in Feb next year.My first tat 1 sitting 8 hours. Got it after having come tru lung cancer year before.

here is my tats got the ram as my first a couple of years ago and the griffin last year am hoping to add to the ram soon thinking of a 34 sleeve containing a koi but not sure how a koi will look with the ram any ideas?

here is my kanu unchou from the manga ikki tousen (or battle vixens, as it's more commonly known as!)

this is the day after it was done so she's still a little bit bloody and the skin tones aren't blended well yet. that and my camera is sh1te so it doesn't do her justice!

the detail in it is incredible, all thanks to jacqueline at yonge street tattoos in toronto!!! many thanks to will for the recommendation

i went in with a tonne of pictures including scans of the manga, but i wanted kanu in this pose so she drew her up like that.

yes my socks have teapots on them

i love the detail on her eye

jacqueline spent ages doing all the different highlights in her hair. it's really hard to see the detail of the Seiryuutou (her spear) but it looks fab if i do say so myself!

i absolutely love her!!!! i really didn't expect her to turn out as well as she did. it means tho, that for any future work i want done, i'll have to fly out to toronto!!

oh and in case you think her spear is bent, it's only cuz of the angle of my leg! when i looked at the photo i nearly sh1t myself til i checked the tattoo out in the mirror when i was standing up straight, haha!!

I don't have a clue what to do for the rest of it, but now that I have the idea for a battle vixens piece in my head, I might just go ahead with that!

So I finally got a camera that takes photos of my tattoos that don't just show up as a bunch of grainy pixels, yay! First 3 pics are my dragons, which are about 15 months old; the last 2 are of my newest piece, only a week old. They're both based on Terry Pratchett's Discworld - the dragons are baby moon dragons from the Last Hero, by Paul Kidby, and the script is from The Things That Tak Wrote, from one of the more recent books, Thud. Hope you like!

Thanks for the compliments, guys! I gave the script tattoo about 36 hours thought before getting it - usually I wait months! I wanted the font to look a bit runic, so I'm really happy with how it turned out. It was done in Living Art in Limerick, but I can't for the life of me remember the artist's name... The font's called 'Hobbiton brush stroke, though, if anyone's interested.
