Got my first tattoo a few days ago to celebrate being sober for two years
Its a phoenix, thought that was fitting seeing as i was dying from alcohol abuse, second chance, rising from the ashes etc

Ha thanks very much! Over the moon with it too, need a constant reminder so its perfect! I really want another one now though

Swelled up quite bad, and stayed pretty swollen for about 2 days, walking was a pain in the arse, Neurophen was my friend! Healing up a treat now though, not a bother! Can't wait to get it finished!

It was a long aul session, mainly on my foot and ankle, i would have been more worried if there was no swelling!

Hi Tattoo,

I've been doing some research on tattoo removal and your pictures are the only ones I've seen with decent results in Ireland.

Where did you get it done and who much did it set you back?
I have one on my back, it's pretty big but I want to fade it down to get a decent cover up.

Hi Colin,

I had the laser treatment done in Bray. The studio is the Nine Lives Studio. A woman called Anna did it. She was a great help. The tattoo faded and the scaring from the tattoo went down a lot (i also treated it with Bio oil for a few months after). I'm actually getting a new tattoo over it at the moment. I'll post a pic when i get a chance.

I have two tattoos, and I thoroughly thought them both through. Took me 6 years to pluck up the courage to get the Arsenal one, I've been a Gooner for 17 years.

The Lady Gaga one I decided to get a year and half ago, but only got it done a few months ago. I like the design in itself.





Not to everyone's taste, but I love them so much and isn't that what counts?!
