Yeah, I've seen his site before..
Didn't know he was doing stuff like that now, asked him to do something similar on me a couple of years back and he wouldn't

Sorry to say this but unless he was using proper flesh staples which they aren't they won't last long. Even sampa has had 100% long term failure on them before redesigning the jewelery.

hhmmm...your pessimism is doing little to instill hopes of longevity for these but is there anyway you could elaborate on precisely what does constitute stapling jewelry and is there any way you suggest i could evade rejection?

  • Registered Users Posts: 4,057 ✭✭✭amazingemmet

Sorry about that buts its the jewelery geometry which is the problem as the staple has a middle section above the skin, then under the skin it has two arms which has one rotated about thirty degrees anticlockwise from the middle then another which is rotated clockwise so when you move one way it rotate the other arm the oppostie direction forcing it to disturb its fistula which eventually will cause the body to reject it. Make sense?

Flesh plating is a much more viable option with the only down side that it is a little too good and is quite hard to remove is needs be.

I really like that! What is it?

Think I've asked that about 5 times so far over the course of this thread...

It's not really meant to be anything in particular. It's a celtic knot style thing with the initial of my first name incorporated into the loop.

I wanted something unique and not copied from a book, tinternet etc but I've got the drawing talent of a snail so i had to get my mam to design it! I ended up having to pick from about 10 different dsesigns that she had done and it was a hard choice.. That one wasn't the first choice but had to compromise over the space i had for it (ie not much!)

I like this a lot, are you in the piercing or tattoo game? Am surprised that someone did that on you as your first.

I want this, if it's the spiral I think it is from Newgrange, on the entrace stone, as a backpiece over the whole back at some stage.

Anyone else think it looks mildly mentally handicapped, with the crossed eyes and furrowed brow and all that jazz?
