They're renound for being one of the worst places i cork. I've no qualms in saying this.
I know a few girls (one of which was 13, yes 13) that they happily tattooed a few years ago. No reliable tattooist will do that.
Not only this, but one of the tattoos started flaking off completely and went all red from the ink.

This isn't a friend of a friend kinda thing, i've seen their work first hand and it's shocking.

Seriously, there are loads of great tattooists in Cork, you should check them out.

You've moaned in every post you've made about your tattoo- just go look at your own post history, which also contains EIGHT individual topics about your tattoo and that's not counting the ones that were deleted. I and many others have given you loads of help and answers and you just keep asking the same questions and not listening and frankly it's getting really old.

Its been clearly pointed out where to go and where not to go, showing a bit of initiative on your part would help. you said you went looking for holy cow tattoo, cool. pity you didnt find it but a bit of research on google would have paid off, Holy Cow, Midleton/ 7 Rose, Kinsale, Cork, Ireland.

Right so, I knew this would get seen in here just as wuick as starting a new thread so feic it, I'm debating getting one of my faires (attch) on my thigh, however for the black one, take down the wings a notch and and rather than having her sitting on a pillar just have a sorts sketchy shaded line under her, so it gives the impression of summit there. As for the pinky one, don't know if I would alter anything...

Just wondering if anyone has any further ideas on it, ie, people familiar with colour work etc, F_S I'm lookin at you but you're not here to look at...I'm sorta more inclined toward the black one, for simplicity etc even though the pink one is prettier...

thats a bit harsh isnt it, think its a bit unfair saying you dont like someone elses tattoo, then that just my thought.

When it heals and all the redness is gone, it should be a lot clearer and the shading will probably look better and more subtle

Not really. I didn't slag him off or anything he asked for feedback and I gave *my* oppinion on the matter. Hopefully Davey's really happy with it but I personally wouldn't be. NOTE: *He posted it for review on a public forum*

no offence, but I didn't think the hair work in your's was all that great, it may be more realistic to the original piece but doesn't look very good in a tatt I don't think

Well if your happy with it that's all that matters. I just think it's poorly done from the linework to the shading and I find that dissapointing especially with the amazing black & grey work available from artists like Justin Russell, Jani etc.

tbh that isn't whats being questioned here, it's the ability or apparent lack there of of the aritst you chose to do your tatt, I wouldn't be in to big pieces like that at all, especially religious ones, but can appreciate them, and the one that truth posted looks well done, the pillars aren't wonky, it's the contours of yer mans arm, and just looks, more tasteful than yours, I'm sorry but it looks like it was done with crayola or summit...the lines aren't crisp, the hair looks like a bad Michelangelo, not a De Vinci...it just doesn't look good at all to me

the reason it's created so much hype was cuz of you're continual reposting of the same threads and questions on it, when you were told the same stuff again and again, and then the fact that you went to a studio that was already recommended NOT to go to...
