    It'd be the only tattoo I've seen to date that I didn't come up with myself but would still consider getting. Unfortunately I think it'd get in the way of one of the ones I have come up with myself, so I'll have to wait until I can get that one done to see if it'd still fit or could maybe be worked around it.

    Been planning this one for years. So happy with it, I'm made up. Getting the shading and colour in 2 weeks. I didn't enjoy any moment of the process TBH... and I'm good with pain usually. Was it worth it?... Abso-bleedin-lutely!!! This tattoo means so much to me, that I don't mind if nobody else in the world likes it. :D:D:D

    By the way...It's a japanese hammer and chisel hanging from a cherry blossom tree with paper-lanterns by a waterfall. It's on the back of my right leg. I'm a cabinet-maker and I've been mad into woodwork since I was a kid.

    Yeah thanks Wilburt, it's a credit to the girl doing it. I do have a sketch of the finished article with colour and it's 100% what I wanted and needed. I'd stick the sketch up but I don't think that would be fair on the artist as I feel it remains her property until it's completely finished on my leg. Will put up finished picture on Thurs 26th.
    I actually have and use those 2 tools in the tattoo every day in work.... they are my most prized possessions.

    Nice. Must admit I had to take a second look to convince myself 100% that the fabric part of your shoe wasn't part of the tattoo.:o

    I hope I'm wrong, but I thought tattooists generally don't like to tattoo the top part of the foot due to footwear tending to rub there a lot and so causing the tattoo to degrade faster?:confused:
