    So I finally got it finished! It took 3 sessions over the last 3 or so months, one for outline and 2 for colour.
    It was done by Karen in Celestial Ring in the Abbey Street and Ashbourne studios.
    I'm a cabinetmaker who prefers to use traditional Japanese handtools and I am really obsessed with Japanese culture so it just made perfect sense to get one of my chisels and one of my hammers hanging from a cherry tree on a cliff by a waterfall! :p
    As you might be able to tell it took a lot of thought and designing from Karen as it is hard to do a hammer and chisel without making it look like a communist symbol.
    I wouldn't want it to be any different and I know I'll still be proud of it in 50 years.

    Sorry about the quality I might replace the photos with better ones... (if I ever get a camera!)

    PS It might look a bit contorted in the photos(eg head of hammer, handle of chisel), this is due to where the tattoo is on my leg... It's not like that when you look at the tattoo in the flesh!

    hi people,

    my first post here, and my first tattoo.

    i love it. it was done by cristian , the expert tailor in naas.
    he designed it free hand for me on the spot. took him about 40 mins to free draw on my arm , then two and half hour of pain.:eek:

    by **** it was worth it. i love it:D and plan on extending to full arm in the future.

    sorry about the crap photo.

    absolutely LOVE those! was gonna get three sunflowers inked on me at one point, but just didnt think they'd work in ink format. way to prove me wrong! absolutely awesome!!!

    farohar, yep it is, some freaky **** there alright, haha!!

    Crumble Froo, cheers got them done in black and grey first and wasn't happy with the shading at all, the tattoo artist ****ed them up a bit but I'm delighted with them now!
