Ok I only bothered to take a photo of this today, I got the shading done about 2 months ago, sleeve is motoring along nicely, still haven't decided what's going to bind it all together, I am considering joining it all up with polynesian freehand, but would like to keep it celtic, so am torn, I'll talk it out with Gav and see what we decide on.

Me likes, Personally i wouldn't go with the polynesian stuff don't think it would mix too well. Have you thought of new grange sort spiral stuff?

this is what we ended up doing today. I've got one more session left just to tie it all up a bit more and we're done hopefully. I really love it, but I'm not gonna be sorry when it's finished. After five sessions so far its taken its toll on the ribs.
anyway, these photos are shocking. I'll post some more when I get someone to take some better shots for me.

I'd say should think about filling in something below the lotus flower to follow the natural shape of your hip, round out the bottom of the tattoo, it will flow much better with your shape, not a lot, maybe a few more waves just round it out at the bottom, it stops kinda flat, if you join the tips of the bottom waves with a line they almost touch the petals, which is what I mean by flat, mmmmhope I have gotten accross what I mean, is looking good.

I love that. The new hues really offset evrything else. I'd agree with Blub though about curving it down the hip slightly more, just to lose that abrupt ending it seems to have. Gorgeous work though, keep the photos coming.

i was thinking the same thing...

oh and mar_mar i've my foot done and dont regret it ever but after just 8 months i see a bit of it fading. just a warning is all. im willing to get it topped up when needs be and might even add to it come to think of it..

Thanks. You were there alright and may i compliment you on the work you're gettin done. It's lookin really well so far, it should be a bobby dazzler when it's finished. Karens work is amazin but i genuinely don't think i have the pain threshold to get somethin that big or elaborate, especially around my ribs:eek:

I just played with this for a minute to show sorta what I mean and to show how it (IMO) makes for a better shape to fit your shape.

the pink one is actually closer to being finished now than in that picture, the leaves and background have been coloured in to match the blue one and all that's missing is some words in the banner yoke. i'll be taking a trip up to helen in belfast to get it finished and touched up pretty soon.

I just have a few things that have cropped up to be worrying about rather then the shape of my tattoo at my hip. but thanks again.

I totally agree with you Blub, that flows way nicer on the hips. It's looking fantastic though pornstar!! Most throw some pics up of my piercings at some point, I'm up to thirteen now, got my tragus done yesterday.

She is and she isn't, she's just picking and choosing the work she wants to do at the mo. But i think she's gonna be doing 3 days a week in the italians place during the summer.
