connection sharing n firewalls

I am using net connection sharing between my two Pcs with my usb BB modem connected to one machine, the question is this- is the second PC already secured by the first Pcs firewall? I use zonealarm on both machines, Xp and Win98se, the xp machine being the internet yokie :confused:
