Multi-Region Hack Code for PS2

I came across a link to a site from this forum for a Multi-Region hack code for the PS2. It was Press O x 2 times Press R1 x 5 times Press X x 7 times Has anybody gotten this to work and if so, at what stage do you enter the code from?

I never heard of that code before. I just used Region X disc which came free with an otherwise crap PS2 magazine a few years ago.

I got mine in Nov 2000 which was probably the first week they were released here but it says its a SCPH 30003
