I used to dislike the Cayenne, but now I consider it quite attractive in an individual sort of way. If I had the necessary disposable income I'd buy it over an X5, a Lexus (rx300?) or Disco. That is, of course if I wanted to lay the world to waste with an SUV in the first place.

Sorry but you're wrong. In the name of Oprah Winfrey's mighty ass, If you want ugly, there is only one contender:

    The Ssangyong Rodius:

Actually any MPV or SUV coming out of Korea easily makes the Porsche Pepper look like a work of art.

I know of a man who designed a better car, a car for the masses.

I find myself quite liking the modded Cayenne though..? Although I reckon the only decent looking standard Cayenne is the Turbo with the Porsche 20" alloys and every option available.

    Okay guys
I admit the Ssangyong Rodius looks like a mechanical armadillo

However I currently drive a 2.7 Litre Diesel Ssangyong Rexton and despite
my best efforts to beat the crap out of it I cannot find fault. It is based on the Merc ML270 with same engine but looks and drives significantly better than the Merc for half the price. Turbo Diesel delivers 160bhp and even with auto gearbox can leave most things standing.

Also the Musso while slightly butt ugly is a bloody good workhorse.

The moral of the Story : Dont tar all Korean SUVs with the same brush. Rexton Rocks !!!!!
