vw corrado....wanted

hello there.
I want to buy a new car. The car of choice is a vw corrado. I can spend up to a maximum of 4000e. I am also interested in 3series bmw s . . . but not the old boxy stlye. These cars have a certain style i like.. I would appreciate any info. regarding sales on the above or further information ...or if you know a car of similar style i woule be delighted to hear.. please let me know.

No offence but I don't think you will get much of a Corrado for €4k. Best to go shopping in the UK for one of these.

Also you may get an early 90s tired BMW 316i for your budget. Take a look at this one:

You may have to increase your budget or choose something else.

I would definitly go for the corrado. I would definitly get one in angleterre. Some of them look a bit dated, but i saw a metallic grey one the other day with 17 inch alloys low profile boots. man it looked way cool, like something yet to be made. Or there's always the scirocco oh well.

Corrado's are a killer to find cos the sort of people who went for them first or second time round usually know their motors and realise how like gold dust they are now. Scirocco might be a better bet as very occasionally, one can be found in the posession of someone without a clue. Really good cars!

I personally would go for a Carrado but I once had a BMW 318iS coupe and enjoyed it very much - I bought it new in 1998 and sold it in 2003 - never gave any trouble and was quite economical to run as well :cool:

I was thinking about the BMWs but I'm not sure how reliable a 1992/93 model would be. I'm kinda stuck at the moment cos my '91 323f packed up, so importing from the UK isn't really an option (thanks Alfasudcrazy, nice car too!).

Is that red beemer u linked, really a 1.9petrol or is she a diesel. They didnt state the mileage,, that mean it was high?? Did u fone about it.

It's a 1.9 petrol, it's the fifth listing in the Tech Data at the bottom of the page http://www.parkers.co.uk/choosing/carreviews/printview.aspx?model_id=89. I haven't phoned about it yet, but I might get a chance to do so today. I'll let you know the story when I do.
