Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Johnny O'Connor injury doubt

    From Aunt Beeb:

Johnny O'Connor is a doubt for Ireland's Six Nations date with England after hobbling out of Wasps' win over Northampton with an ankle injury.
The flanker was the only Ireland player to start a game this weekend as the rest of the side rested before Dublin.

"Johnny rolled his ankle," said Wasps director of rugby Warren Gatland. "He's got ice on it and he might get a couple of days off before training again.

"He could probably do with the rest. He came back to us in pieces."

If O'Connor is not fit, Denis Leamy - who started the opening win over Italy - is likely to take his place at open-side flanker.

However, the Munster flanker suffered a suspected knee injury in the 25-19 win against Glasgow on Sunday, although the extent of the injury is not yet known

Don't think Leamy will get back in, Quinlan,Wallace or Miller will start.

Got to love that comment from Gatland, he came back to us in pieces, yet he's playing for Wasps that weekend.

Was good to see Wallace finally playing at no. 8 for Munster, hopefully it can become a regular thing but keep him away from the openside especially for Ireland, he's a great ball carrier but his defensive work leaves a lot to be desired. If O'Conner doesn't make it switch Easterby over to openside, he's played there plenty of times for the Scarlets, and bring Miller in at blindside.

Johnny was interviewed on Newstalk. He said he is "100% fit", "looked bad but it was really nothing".

So according to Johnny there is no doubt:)
