I started watching out of mere idle curiosity... to find out it was far better than I expected. I love the humour in it and Dennis Leary, the sarcastic sod that he is, works really well. In fact most of the characters do because they're flawed in some form.

It's very funny and engaging, well worth a watch. Plus Michael Lombardi is hot :D

Its good to see someone else watches it , its a pity there are only 13 episodes in season 1, but i believe it will be available to buy some time in August, Season 2 starts in the U.S. on 3rd August , it would have been a shame if there was only one season

just seen a couple of eps so far, but last weeks one had a few great moments; his da+ uncle for instance! :D

and some nice interaction between Leary's charachter and his brother.

Saw the whole season already (Cousin from US sent me the tapes!) and I enjoyed it so much that I have found myself watching it again on Sky. Looking forward to the new season when it starts.

very funny series. not unlike his last series The Job. that was less drama and more comedy but his characters in both were similar

I have to say I started watching it too as a fan of Denis Leary, but I have found myself enjoying it more each week. The one about the metrosexual and about the lines you are allowed to cross with a workmates ex or sister being quite funny... I think the interaction between the guys in the station is very witty. Bring on more!

I'm glad others have found this show. So few people I know watch it. I found it by accident while switching channels. I can't say that I've ever really been a Denis Leary fan, but I was hooked on it immediately. He's very good at playing a man with issues. Every episode has been witty and interesting.

absolutly love this show. Even the title music is class. Pity there's only 12 episodes in series 1. It's shows like this that makes it worth having a TV license :)

Great series overall, very funny at times. Cannot wait for season 2.

Title music is C'mon C'mon by The Von Bondies for those that were wondering.

Great show! Loved the part when he punched the cop in the neck last night!!

Can anyone tell me what the song was at the end?? Sounded a bit like Dave Matthews Band.

It's Fell On Bad Days by Rubyhorse. I only caught the last 4-5 episodes but I thought it was great, kicking myself for not getting into it earlier.

I felt really bad for Tommy, hes a bit of a prick and a pimp, but he diddnt deserve that.

Oh yeah, I'm a bit confused about this, the guys that came back to haunt Tommy, did they die in Sept. 11th or did they die earlier on in the series?

did they die in Sept. 11th or did they die earlier on in the series?

A mix of people from earlier episodes and 9/11

Really enjoyed this series. When it began airing I knew nothing about it, had heard nothing. This meant it turned out to be a great surprise whereas other great new shows, such as 'Lost', I expected to be great before they began. This one had interesting characters and wicked humour: everyone was flawed. Plus there were a couple of hotties in Proby and Sean...

Of course. It's his baby and he's the main character. It wouldn't be the same without him. Can't wait for the next series. Best show on TV at the moment!
