wouldnt worry about it, you were expecting a repeat of 1963 these things happen. didnt you get snow last night, i havent seen any.
Never again i tells u tonite has taught me something

    1. Epiphany
    1. A Christian feast celebrating the manifestation of the divine nature of Jesus to the Gentiles as represented by the Magi.
    2. January 6, on which this feast is traditionally observed.
    2. A revelatory manifestation of a divine being.
    3.
    1. A sudden manifestation of the essence or meaning of something.
    2. A comprehension or perception of reality by means of a sudden intuitive realization: “I experienced an epiphany, a spiritual flash that would change the way I viewed myself” (Frank Maier).

Anyways theres more where the snow that people have got
today coming your way during the day and a cold front will
approach from 1500hrs. Temperatures wont get above 3c today :)

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 12,811 ✭✭✭✭billy the squid

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 12,811 ✭✭✭✭billy the squid

tell you what though the people who run that premium rate weather call phone number are loosing their money by the minute. have had their webcam streem running for the past two hours.

Well I went 2 miles and gave up, no way was I going to drive 50 miles this morning, the roads are snow white and very very dangerous.

There was a decent shower here for the last 30 minutes stopped now but there at least 2 inches here, on the lawn there even be 2 and a half.

Weathercheck I wouldn't give up yet tonight could bring a surprise.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 12,780 ✭✭✭✭ninebeanrows

Well a brief hail shower really capped of the night and morning
like a punch in the face after being tortured for days..

Chin up for me anyway and i'm jealous of those lucky people
who will wake up to a fair dollop expecially in North Dublin
    and Meath :)

More showers through the morning and then as i mentioned the cold front
    towards afternoon :)

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 15,951 ✭✭✭✭Villain

But there won't be enough cloud cover to stop the thaw will there?

Oh and what do you expect that cold front to bring?

Well latest satellite and radar imagery of the cold front
that it is very very active although it will dy over the
pennines in England and then have to reinvigore over the
Irish sea so dotn really know. Really want a heavy snow shower
to give me an excuse for no school :);):D

Development of the cold front could be very stark
and is now, the development of a polar low
    of sorts is possible :)
