Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back a page or two to re-sync the thread and this will then show latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    Does anyone know of a freeware utility to monitor the SMART status of a hard disk? I had a disk fail spectacularly a while ago, and I can't help but feel it would have warned me if I'd been listening.

    I'm fundamentally a Linux-head, and have smartmontools on my own computers, but I'd like to have something similar on de missus's PC.

    Howdy,

    Speedfan can monitor SMART hard drives. ALso ATI Traytools has a plugin which will do the same.

    Looks like a neat app....doen't work with RAID tho so no good for me :(
