    Hey,

    Not sure if this is the right place to put this (if it is please move it), but a message board for DIT students (thats hosted on netsoc servers) has been set up.

    Its called DITSEE and can be found here:

    and is a part of much larger project called DIT central (again a netsoc project) and more information can be found here:

    DITSee has a few too many boards at the moment - not a lot of traffic to most of them yet but it's a nice effort.

    Yeah we are working on it all. The number of forums will be cut down at some point and we are working on membership. Its gonna take time to build up board members and we are working on it.

    One thing to bear in mind is that what turned into boards.ie originally had one forum which turned into just five as membership grew ...

    What happened to the forums that were being hosted on the netsoc server? (Please don't air any grievances with any departments or whatever, I'm just mildly curious).

    Yeah, we are still fairly new at all this and everything is still in the air.

    Ditsee is being hosted on the netsoc servers and is a netsoc project. The DIT netsoc is all well and good right now.

    The servers are in their own room/office in the basement of Aungier St having finally escaped the evil clutches of the computing yada yada yada....
