24hr garage & 'The DIY garage' !

    I read in Auto Express (9/2/05) that the first 24hr garage has started in the UK.
    BMW main dealers, Bowker BMW in Accrington, now open their service dept on a 24hr basis - and apparently it's been a big hit with customers !

    Will we soon see similar moves by Irish dealerships ?


    Also, a mechanic in Scotland has established 'The DIY Garage'.
    Basically, customers rent a bay or hoist for £15 an hour. A mechanic is also available to offer advise to customers, if required.

    Ignore the silicon brained..

    I'd shell out £15 an hour just to not have to work outside in our climate, and a bay/hoist - next you'll be telling us they have heating too.

    A 24 hour DIY garage - hmmm

    Better still have KITT go down and give himself a service

    Mmm, don't know about a 24hour garage, but it would be nice if they stayed open till 9pm.
