There's an Irish language theatre called An Taibhdhearc in middle St. Their website is here (it's in Irish) and here's some info in English. They don't have plays on all the time but you might be lucky!

There's also the Town hall theatre.

I'm going to Galway in two weeks and I am going to stay there for three weeks. I think it would be nice to check out the theatres and if I'm lucky I could see an Irish play. That would be grand!

I would like to plan to go to a theatre with a couple of people. Perhaps some of the Atlantic students, young teachers or you...? Could be fun with more people and the prices are okay!

I will let ye know when I know more about it. Anyway, anyone is invited...so feel free to come or think about it, hehe!

Thanks for all your great input here. Honestly it was a real pleasure!

However, I cannot support this whole 'grown-up thing' here that contains porn, fascistic elements (Nazi Pics), SIGPO backstabbing, despotic power and other sleaze (e.g. bangbus). It is not so much about the sig thing, like many people think. It is more about the rude language in general, the harsh treatment and lack of freedom of speech! I really don't get it how people can be so blind at times, but a loyal friend Yeats must be right! Nothing has changed really. I hope there is a way for improvement!

I know three other excellent forums, where the treament is friendly and rules can be made explicit in a kind way. Those gamepages are real fun and teamspeak is cool 2!

So thank you very much indeed for your help!
