I am planning to get my wife a second hand car she could use 4 going 2 work.
She would like something small. Our budget is limited so I was thinking of
getting a 1995-1997 car. The choice is narrowed to a car with an automatic
    gearbox and a 1.0-1.4 L engine.
    Amongst others we are considering:
    1) Nisan Micra
    2 Ford Fiesta
    3) Opel Corsa
    4)Mitsubishi Colt
    Any suggestions, remarks etc.
Which one would you go for?

go for the micra, rock solid little car, just change the oil often, cheap tax on the 1 litre, also a good few imports around with auto on them, with the added benefit of air con, wouldnt be the best car for motorways with the auto in it, but brilliant around town, many of the imports have the light power steering option, you can parallel park with your finger.

Most people seem to recommend the Micra. (It must be the uggliest car out on the roads). The positive thing is that it comes with loads of extras/ Can anyone recommend a Nissan dealer in Dublin who specialises in Japanese imports. Does anyone have whatsoever experience with the Mitsubishi Colt Automatic? Are they pricy etc.

    TIA
