Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Anyone know anything you can download for free that will remove pretty much any viruses etc. from the computer?

Thats what I use too in conjunction with Adaware and Spybot search and destroy. They work fine for me. AVG is free from http://www.grisoft.com

if you want to do it online without installing anything then this will do the job:

    Trend Micro Housecall: http://housecall.trendmicro.com/

also if you're doing this because of general pc problems, then the most likely culprit is spyware, in which case you'll need this:

    Spybot S&D: http://www.safer-networking.org/

    and this:

    Ad-Aware: http://www.lavasoftusa.com/

And that's just to start with.

With either of the last two apps, make sure you update them before running a scan, as they don't have all the up to date bits in the download for some stupid reason.

To make myself clear, if you've got a virus or some spyware or you think your ISP is haxxing you with pings... don't post here. This isn't the place, contact tech support or try another board where it may be closer to the topic.
If you'd looked on the windows forum then you'd see this topic repeated groundhog style every bleedin' week. Have a look at the stickies there too.
