Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Football on TV

As a satellite enthusiast (novice) and football fan, I thought I'd share some of my knowledge garnered on how to watch football on TV without having to fork out for SKY (legally of course).

have a look at http://64.77.87.5/sport/ and scroll about the site. This is the best one for soccer listings.

A Lidl dish for €100 will deliver any game listed as FTA
for example the Chelsea/Liverpool game on DSF last Sunday.

ART sports is very popular too for those willing to spend a little more. Cards can be as cheap as £50

fascinating hobby. If you've any questions i'll try to answer.

Yeah L.J's site ... Use this regularly to find out if pub will have the footy games ... I have a few Q's for ya

    - I have a sky mini dish & digi box (no sky card)
    - I don't have the cable to attach the dish to the box
    - What's a good cable to use .. where to buy .. Can I get FTA from what I have or do I need another FTA card

    Cheers

    maplin sell it loose.

You can buy a prepacked roll for €10 approx. i think it has about 5 meters.
You don't want joints so buy it loose.
they will cut it for you there and then.

€40 for 20 metres? If I had've known it was that costly I wouldn't have bought this bloody Skystar card.
